Sunday #snippet from #Chosen4life

Chosen

Marcy inhaled the crisp cool winter air. They sat, and she leaned against Tom who put his arm around her.

“Are you okay?” he asked.

Her throat constricted. Michael had never asked if she was okay. Not ever. At that moment, the reality of how he used her hit her full in the face. Her shoulders started shaking as she gave into more tears.

“Hey, what’s the matter?”

She sniffed, hiccuped, and whispered, "I'm pregnant."

Marcy looked at him as he removed his arm from her shoulder. “So is this the end of us?”

Chosen

An adoption story that will move you to your core. Based loosely on true events. Chosen is a story all about choices:
  1. giving birth vs. abortion
  2. to keep the child or put the child up for adoption

It is also about the adoptive parents:

  1. Reasons why the couple can't have their own and choosing to stay together.
  2. Choosing the various routes to pursue adoption

Love,

It is a choice.
