7 Writer Challenge Pass On

I was tagged by Author Mark Barry so here it goes:

The rules: Go to either page 7 or page 77 and starting with line 7, post the next 7 lines and then challenge 7 others to do the same.

Page 7, line 7 and following 7 lines:

He was not going to Oklahoma with them How was going to leave the only place he had known. He spit on the ground and stared angrily at the creek as it flowed by, oblivious to the tormented kid.

1858 - Florida

The years had not been kind to Greggory, also known as "Black Arrow" from the Cherokee tribe. He was thirty years old and though he was half Cherokee and half black, he had relied on his black heritage to help him survive after his family left. Many times, such as now, he regretted his decision in not going with them. He thought he knew it all back then.
